# Scroll animation for developers

Drive animation with scrolling. Read trigger markers, decide what each crossing does, scrub a drawing, pin a chapter stage and layer a hero without moving the words.

ScrollTrigger decisions for everyday pages: start and end positions, toggle actions, scrub, pinning and parallax layers. Horizontal scroll, snapping, smooth-scroll libraries and WebGL are outside this course.

About 50 minutes in total. Applied motion. 6 practical labs. Fit a lab into a lunch break or a spare hour; save your progress and return whenever you have time.

## Prerequisites

Basic HTML, CSS and JavaScript, and a first look at GSAP tweens. Motion design for developers is recommended preparation; no ScrollTrigger experience needed.

The interactive labs require a laptop or desktop with a browser window at least 1024px wide. The course outline is available on any device.
