Halflight Press prints in short runs on a secondhand drum, and every sheet leaves the studio slightly different from the one before it. The ink is mixed by eye, the registration drifts a hair to the left, and the paper keeps whatever the roller gives it. We have decided to call this character. If you are reading this line without the loupe, either your eyesight is remarkable or you are standing far too close to the wall. Step back. The poster works from across the room; the footnotes are for the committed. Every print is numbered in pencil, wrapped in tissue we fold badly, and posted with a stamp chosen for no reason at all.
