The pressing plant

Cut warm, two streets from the sea.

Hot Wax started in 2019 with a secondhand lathe, a storage unit on the Harbour Arm and one rule: nothing gets pressed that did not make somebody in the room dance. Twelve catalogue numbers later the rule holds.

Runs are small because we like them small. Three hundred copies, cut warm, weighed at 180 grams, sleeves printed two streets away. When a run is gone it is gone. We would rather cut something new than repeat ourselves.

Pressed slow.
Played loud.
