Five days ago the vault had three website templates. Today it has 31. The 28 new ones cover portfolios, restaurants, gyms, weddings, bookshops, food trucks, an observatory, and a pair of SaaS products, and three of them are completely free.
Every template is the same deal as the first three: a complete, deployable one-page site composed from GSAP Vault effects, shipped as plain HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. No build step, no framework lock-in. Copy the folder, swap the content, deploy anywhere.
This batch also brings some firsts for the template line: DrawSVG linework, a MotionPathPlugin driving animation, and two templates built around Flip layout transitions. All of these plugins are free on the public CDN, so there is nothing extra to license.
Here is the whole batch, grouped by what you might be building.
Portfolios and personal sites
- Developer Portfolio: a workbench panel where each code snippet types itself out, then the preview beside it runs the exact code you just read.
- Photography Portfolio: a circular loupe tracks the cursor across a desaturated contact sheet, and inside the loupe is the only place colour appears.
- Resume: a Flip-driven toggle reflows the whole page from a spacious web resume into an A4 document, backed by a real print stylesheet, so the site is also the PDF.
- Podcast Show: a drag-to-scrub waveform player with chapter markers, on a deep wine ground with one hot pink accent.
- Indie Magazine: set like a broadsheet front page, with a cover headline that typesets itself letter by letter and pull quotes that grow on scroll while the columns re-wrap around them live.

Local businesses and services
- Barber Shop: heavy slab type on an aubergine ground, with a three-step booking flow that keeps a running summary.
- Nail Studio: a live shade try-on that paints a photographed hand coat by coat.
- Tattoo Studio: pick a design off the flash sheet and its linework inks itself stroke by stroke with DrawSVG, black lines first, red packed in last.
- Wellness Studio: a full-week class timetable and an interactive 4-7-8 breath guide on a terracotta ground.
- Strength Gym: a one-rep-max calculator that prescribes every week of a twelve-week block and draws the plates you actually have to load.
- Real Estate: four pages, with a Flip shared-element transition that carries the listing photograph across a real page navigation into the property hero.
- Architecture Studio: a scroll-scrubbed blueprint hero draws a building elevation in orange linework, then crossfades into the finished photograph.

Food, travel and events
- Restaurant: a candlelit dark art direction where moving the cursor across the tasting menu conjures a trail of dish photographs.
- Food Truck: pick a day of the week and the van drives along an illustrated route map to that day’s pitch, wheels turning, exhaust puffing on arrival.
- Coffee Roaster: a working demo basket with a fly-to-basket arc, grind selection, and a live subtotal.
- Holiday Let: a draggable date-range availability calendar that refuses to span nights already taken and prices every night on its own season.
- Wedding: a stationery suite on champagne and card stock, with a reply card that writes itself in typewriter text and posts itself in an envelope on submit.
- Observatory: hand-plotted star maps that DrawSVG connects line by line as each section arrives, over a three-layer parallax starfield.

Selling a product
- Fashion Drop: a stark limited-release site with a live countdown, a draggable lookbook card deck, and a first-access waitlist.
- SaaS Landing Page: switching feature tabs redraws the mini-UI inside the app window, so visitors drive the console instead of looking at a screenshot of it.
- Landing Page: vertical-agnostic, with bands that alternate hard between two tones and a nav that inverts itself against whatever is behind it using
mix-blend-mode. - Online Course: a draggable pace planner. Set your hours per week and the curriculum re-packs itself into real weeks with a live finish date.
- Bookshop: a shelf of art-directed CSS book spines. Pull one and it tips out in 3D and opens on the table below, cover and staff blurb on facing pages.
- Email API SaaS: set like airmail stationery. Outbound emails fly into the sorting tray as paper letters on a timed stream, and a circular red postmark franks them DELIVERED with a thunk.
- Incident Alerting SaaS: a night-shift console where alert events stream onto a live wire, counters tick as they land, and severity channels retune what comes through.

Three of them are free
- Coming Soon: a holding page dressed as a picture house, with a projector beam raking the auditorium and a countdown styled as an Academy leader.
- Charity Campaign: a river-restoration appeal built around a draggable before/after comparator, where every figure counts like a gauge reading.
- Link in Bio: link cards toss onto the page like stickers, drag anywhere with momentum, and tween back into a neat stack on “Tidy up”.
The free templates are the full product: same code quality, same accessibility work, MIT licensed. Grab them from the templates page or straight from the free GitHub repo.
What every template includes
- Plain HTML, CSS, and JavaScript with GSAP loaded from a CDN. Deploy to Netlify, Vercel, GitHub Pages, or any server.
- A
prefers-reduced-motionfallback that renders a complete static page, not a broken one. - Keyboard navigation and mobile-first responsive layouts.
- Effects sharing one
gsap.contextand onegsap.matchMedia, so the code teaches you how vault effects compose on a real page.
What’s coming
More templates, on a regular cadence. The list of what gets built next is not fixed, which brings us to the interesting part.
Request a template, get it free
If there is a template you want and the vault does not have it, tell us. Email via the contact page with two things:
- The site you need. The business or project type: a florist, a five-a-side league, a school fair, whatever you are actually building.
- One interaction that would sell it. Every vault template has a signature: the nail studio’s shade try-on, the food truck’s route map, the gym’s plate calculator. What is yours?
If we build your suggestion, you get the finished template free. No strings: we build it, you get a download link, it goes into the catalog for everyone else.
Requests that describe a real project with a real audience go to the top of the pile. “A portfolio but nicer” is hard to act on; “a site for a climbing gym where you can filter routes by grade” is a template brief.
Templates are £12 each, or every one of them, current and future, is included in the Effects & Templates Vault at £29 alongside all the premium effects. The vault price rises as the library grows, and everyone who already owns it keeps everything, so buying early is the better end of the deal.
