Sites that sell a place before they sell a booking

Hospitality is the one sector where atmosphere is the product, and it is the sector whose templates most often ignore that. A booking widget over a stock photograph tells a visitor nothing about whether they want to be in the room.

These templates are art-directed as the venue. The restaurant is a candlelit room in near-black green and candle gold, and drawing the cursor across the tasting menu conjures a trail of dish photographs. The cocktail bar is a 1920s deco room in teal-black and brass where you build a drink and watch the layers pour. The theatre closes its stage curtains, changes the production at full cover, then opens into a settling house-light glow. The gallery pins and pans a hang of artworks sideways as you scroll.

The practical information is treated as seriously as the atmosphere, because that is what actually converts. Timetables, opening hours, dietary filters, access and travel notes, seasonal pricing and availability all have real structure rather than being dumped in a footer.

Two of the most useful here are the least glamorous. The QR table menu is a free, phone-first menu built to be scanned at the table, where changing a dish means editing list markup. The holiday let is an almanac with a draggable date-range calendar that refuses to span nights already taken and prices every night on its own season.

How to put your venue into one of these templates

Dates, menus and timetables are the content that changes most, so they are all kept in plain markup you can edit without reading any JavaScript.

  1. 01

Enter your real dates and hours first

Timetables, seasons and opening hours are structured markup. Putting the real ones in immediately shows you whether the layout suits how your week actually runs.

  2. 02

Swap the photography as a set

Bundled photographs share one grade baked into the pixels so the page reads as a single campaign. Replace them all together rather than one at a time, or the set will look mismatched.

  3. 03

    Keep the accent discipline

These palettes usually hold one accent for one job, such as a colour that only appears where a drink is poured. Adding a second accent is the fastest way to make a designed room look like a template again.

  4. 04

Wire bookings to your existing system

Availability calendars and booking steps are complete front ends. Point the submit at OpenTable, ResDiary, a form service or your own endpoint.

Wellness Studio Template A complete one-page site for a yoga or movement studio, built on a saturated terracotta ground, with a full-week class timetable and an interactive 4-7-8 breath guide as its signature. ScrollTrigger Light
Coming Soon Template A free single-screen holding page dressed as a picture house: a projector beam rakes across a dark auditorium, a house light wanders the room, and the countdown is an Academy leader whose sweep hand turns continuously while the day count cuts once a day. GSAP core Dark
Wedding Template A wedding one-pager with one job, getting guests to RSVP, built as a stationery suite on champagne and card stock, with a reply card that writes itself in typewriter text and posts itself in an envelope on submit. ScrollTrigger Light
Food Truck Template A complete one-page site for a street-food truck, built around an illustrated route map: pick a day of the week and the van drives along the route to that day's pitch with MotionPathPlugin, wheels turning, exhaust puffing on arrival, each pin revealing a photo of its pitch. ScrollTrigger, MotionPathPlugin Dark
Observatory Template A complete one-page site for a public observatory or planetarium, built around scroll-drawn constellations: hand-plotted star maps that DrawSVG connects line by line as each section arrives, over a three-layer parallax starfield. ScrollTrigger, DrawSVG Dark
Cocktail Bar Template A complete one-page site for a 1920s speakeasy, built on a deep teal-black ground with brass deco linework, whose signature is a build-your-cocktail glass that pours coloured liquid layers as you pick a base spirit and mixers. ScrollTrigger Dark
Travel & Tour Template A complete one-page site for a boutique small-group tour operator, built on a lagoon-teal ground with a coral accent, and an interactive itinerary map whose route line draws itself in as its signature. ScrollTrigger Dark
Art Gallery Template A one-page site for a contemporary art gallery, built on a cool white ground with one vermilion, whose signature is a walk-the-wall exhibition: the section pins and vertical scroll pans a hang of CSS-drawn artworks sideways, with a medium filter that re-hangs the wall. ScrollTrigger, Flip Light
QR Table Menu Template A phone-first digital menu made to open from a QR code at the table, with a sticky category bar that crossfades between sections and dietary chips that filter every dish at once. ScrollTrigger Light
Theatre Venue Template A complete repertory theatre site with an oxblood playbill identity and a production selector whose stage curtains close, change the show at full cover, then open into a settling house-light glow. ScrollTrigger Dark
Sports Club Template A complete one-page site for a semi-professional football club, painted edge to edge in one saturated kit colour with the club name set at poster scale across a full-bleed photograph, built around a draggable season scrubber that turns a plain results list into an instrument: throw it and the scoreline, points, league position, form guide and position curve all answer to the same finger. ScrollTrigger Dark
Craft Brewery Template A one-page brewery and taproom site where a draggable spinning can is the hero: the only saturated object on an industrial gunmetal shell, and picking a beer retokens the whole page. ScrollTrigger Dark

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I take real bookings through these templates?

The booking and availability interfaces are complete on the front end, including validation and pricing, but there is no backend. Connect them to your existing booking system or a form service. Everything expensive to design and build is already done.

How hard is it to change a menu?

It is editing a list in HTML. Dishes, prices and dietary tags are markup with data attributes, and the filters read those attributes, so adding a dish needs no JavaScript changes at all. The QR menu template was built specifically around this.

Do I need my own photography?

Several templates use no photography at all, including the observatory, the cocktail bar's drawn elements and the brewery, where every image is authored SVG. The ones that do use photos ship bundled WebP you can replace with your own at the same dimensions.

Will these work for a one-off event rather than a permanent venue?

Yes. The festival, wedding and coming-soon templates are built around a fixed date, with countdowns and a single call to action. The wedding template in particular funnels every section toward one act, which is the RSVP.
